Valued community,
Your health and safety come first! My colleagues and I follow infection control recommendations from the CDC, OHA, OSHA, our licensing boards, and professional organizations.
Below are examples of the protocols I have in place:
-I am fully vaccinated and boosted.
-I wear a KN95 mask for face-to-face time with patients and in the treatment room.
-I ask patients to reschedule if they’re feeling unwell or have tested positive within the last two weeks, and to wear a well-fitting mask if they’ve had any known exposure to COVID-19 or if anyone at home is sick.
-I sanitize treatment room surfaces between each visitor.
-New patients have the option to establish care by telemedicine to limit our time in shared space.
-Our HVAC system is outfitted with HEPA filtration, and I run medical-grade HEPA air purifiers in treatment rooms and common spaces.
-These protocols are all subject to review as things change.
With warm good wishes and gratitude!
