Valued community,

Your health and safety come first. My colleagues and I follow infection control recommendations from the CDC, OHA, OSHA, our licensing boards, and professional organizations.

Below are examples of the protocols I have in place:

-I am fully vaccinated and boosted.

-I send a screening survey email prior to each appointment, in which I ask patients to stay home if they’re feeling unwell or have tested positive within the last two weeks, and to contact me if they’ve had any known exposure. My screening protocol changes periodically to reflect local case counts and as we deepen our understanding of COVID-19.

-All visitors are required to wear a well-fitting mask. For cosmetic acupuncture, I wear a medical-grade mask for the duration of the appointment and patients may remove their mask for facial needling.

-I wear a well-fitting medical-grade mask at all times. During periods of higher case counts in our area, I wear an N95 mask and may wear a face shield while in the treatment room. During periods of less intensity, I wear a KN95 or surgical mask.

-I sanitize treatment room surfaces between each visitor.

-New patients have the option to establish care by telemedicine to limit our time in shared space.

-Our HVAC system is outfitted with HEPA filtration, and I run medical-grade HEPA air purifiers in treatment rooms and common spaces.

With warm good wishes and gratitude!
