Beyond beauty culture, cosmetic facial acupuncture is a holistic treatment for the face, neck, and scalp.
Can we relieve tension in facial muscles by coaxing them back into balance, without turning them off completely?
Can we slow the aging process and ease wrinkles while toning our nervous system?
Can we restore health to our skin and enhance our ability to express our spirit through our facial expressions?
Can a "beauty" treatment help us look more like ourselves?
My answer to these questions is a resounding “Yes!” Cosmetic facial acupuncture is a supportive treatment that works with your body, not against it.

My perspective
You deserve to feel comfortable in your own skin. Not to meet anyone’s standard of beauty, but to meet your own goals of feeling healthy and wonderful - whatever that looks like for you.
Cosmetic facial acupuncture techniques first drew my attention because I thought they might help me treat neck and jaw pain more effectively. And they do! But as I leaned into this offering even more, I saw that the treatments can release a tremendous amount of emotional tension. Cosmetic acupuncture treatment is an impressive balm for the nervous system.
In my practice, there is no shame or blame for anyone who chooses to use Botox or similar options. Personally, I’m driven to provide an alternative to these and other contemporary cosmetic procedures, and many patients have shared they are seeking the same.
I continue to examine my own learned beliefs about beauty, and I hold space as my patients explore this for themselves. In community with many of my teachers and colleagues, I’m thrilled to sidestep a harmful beauty culture and share the wisdom and care of Chinese medicine.
My approach
Each patient’s treatment is a fully bespoke plan, without set protocols or one-size-fits-all options. I employ multiple cosmetic acupuncture techniques and styles, tailored to your needs and focused on your goals.
Chinese Medicine embraces the body’s ability to heal itself and return to balance with the right types of support. With this in mind, each appointment is a unique experience, guided by your needs at that time.
For best results, I recommend a series of 10-12 weekly treatments followed by ongoing monthly treatments. This plan helps restore and then maintain your skin’s health and balance.
This work doesn’t happen in a vacuum, and I’m honored that my facial work is informed by many teachers and lineage-holders:
